Installing the bayes Command Line Tool

How to install the CLI command line version on your system

In this document, you will learn how to install the CLI command line tool bayes for HyperAI.

Installing bayes via pip

The HyperAI CLI is now written in Python, and you can install it through Python's package manager pip. Before installation, please ensure that Python is already installed on your system (Python 3.7 or higher is recommended).

Use the following command to install the latest version of HyperAI CLI:

pip install openbayes-cli

If you want to install a specific version, you can use:

pip install openbayes-cli==<version_number>

If you wish to install directly from the official PyPI source, avoiding local cache and third-party mirrors, you can use the following commands:

# Install the latest version (without using cache)
pip install --upgrade openbayes-cli --no-cache-dir

# Install a specific version (using official PyPI source)
pip install --upgrade openbayes-cli==<version_number> --index-url https://pypi.org/simple

These commands are particularly useful for ensuring you get the latest version or resolving installation issues.

After installation is complete, you can verify the installation through the following steps:

  1. Use pip to view the installed package information:
pip show openbayes-cli

This will display detailed information about the CLI tool's version, installation location, dependencies, etc.

  1. Verify that the CLI tool works properly:
bayes status

If the installation is successful, this command will display your connection status and basic system information.
