Quick Start

Launch your first Jupyter workspace with HyperAI

This guide introduces how to quickly launch a Jupyter workspace through HyperAI.

User Registration

First, please visit openbayes.com/console to register for HyperAI.

After successful registration, you will see the following interface:

Among these, Computing Container is our main service, offering two computing usage methods: Jupyter Workspace and Script Upload.

  • Jupyter Workspace is an interactive programming environment, convenient for early model experimentation
  • Script Upload refers to uploading and executing specified code, suitable for model training with longer running times

Data Repository is responsible for managing data used for model training and other types of data storage.

Create Jupyter Workspace

:::info If you don't know how to use JupyterLab yet, you can refer to our Jupyter Workspace documentation, JupyterLab official documentation, or related Chinese translation resources. :::

At openbayes.com/console, click "+" next to "Model Training" on the left sidebar to create a new container:

  1. Select required computing resources
  2. Select billing method
  3. Select image, multiple versions are built-in, click the dropdown arrow for details
  4. Select access method
  5. Enter 1 valid container name
  6. Select data repository to bind or execute
  7. Set container idle shutdown time
  8. Configure port mapping
  9. Click "Execute"

The system will create a computing container based on the submitted content and jump to the following interface, indicating the container is being prepared:

After a moment, you will see this page:

This indicates the container is ready. Click the prominent button "Open Workspace" to see the Jupyter workspace interface:

After that, you can create a new Jupyter workspace here.

Data Storage Instructions

There are two main storage locations in the container:

System Disk (Root Directory /)

  • This is a temporary storage area
  • ⚠️ All data here will be cleared after the container is shut down and will not occupy overall storage space
  • Do not store any files that need to be preserved here

Workspace (/openbayes/home)

  • This is a persistent storage area
  • All data that needs to be saved must be placed here
  • After the container is shut down, data here will be automatically saved and will occupy overall storage space
  • Can continue to be used when the container is started next time

:::info Important Note Always place files that need to be saved (code, data, models, etc.) in the /openbayes/home directory. :::
