Organization Features Overview

HyperAI supports creating organizations. Organizations facilitate the management of resources such as data repositories and containers, and enable multi-user collaboration by adding organization members.

Creating an Organization

After logging into HyperAI, click on the username in the navigation bar to see a dropdown menu, then click "Create New Organization".

Provide an organization ID and an organization email address to create the organization.

:::tip Creating an organization allows the use of email addresses already registered on HyperAI. :::

Switching Organization Context

Click on the navigation bar shown in the image below to switch the context of user resources. This will list the user's "Private Space" and all organizations the user has joined.

:::info Each organization is an independent namespace, which means "Data Repositories" and "Computing Containers" have independent access permissions under the organization. Additionally, "Storage" and "Computing Resources" under the organization are also independent. This means any resources built under the organization will use the organization's resources (storage, computing power) rather than personal resources.

Migrating Resources (Data Repositories, Containers)

Newly created organizations have no data repositories or containers. You can migrate existing data repositories and containers to the newly created organization. Here we use data repositories as an example.

First, select a data repository under "Private Space", click "Settings" in the navigation to see the "Transfer Current Dataset" option on the page:

Click "Transfer" and follow the prompts to enter the organization name and confirm the data repository name:

After clicking confirm, the project will be automatically migrated to the specified organization.

:::caution Note Only when an organization administrator migrates resources will it take effect automatically. If an organization member requests resource transfer to the organization, the organization administrator will receive a confirmation email, and it will only take effect after clicking the link to confirm acceptance. :::

Inviting Members

After switching the HyperAI console context to the organization, "Organization Settings" will appear in the left navigation:

Click "Invite Members" to invite members to the organization.

You can invite users who have already registered on HyperAI, or enter a user's email address to invite new users to join. Invitees will receive an email. For users already registered on HyperAI, clicking the email link will take them to a page to confirm acceptance of the organization invitation; for users not yet registered on HyperAI, clicking the email link will take them to the HyperAI registration page, and they will automatically join the organization after successful registration.

Member Permissions

Members who join an organization can have two types of permissions:

1. Regular members are users of resources within the organization and can access containers, datasets, etc. for which they have appropriate permissions.
2. Administrators are managers of the organization who can invite new members to join the organization and have higher permission control over resources.

Only organization administrators can modify the permissions of organization members.

Expanding the Organization

Organizations are provided with 3 seats free of charge, meaning that in addition to the organization creator, two additional members can be added to participate in organizational collaboration. If you wish to have more members participate in organizational collaboration, this can be achieved by "purchasing seats."

Clicking "Purchase Seats" will bring up a seat purchase page:

:::info To unify the cycles of storage space and seat orders, when a user subscribes to storage space and the order cycle is less than one month, the seat order amount will be displayed as a corresponding discounted price based on the remaining days (Total order price ✖️ difference between billing date and current date ➗ total days in the current month). From the following month, seat orders will be charged at ￥5/person/month. :::

Select the number of seats to add and click "Purchase" to complete the purchase.

Like storage resources, seats are charged monthly.
