DeepWriting is a new handwritten text dataset with fine-grained annotations at the character level and preliminary user evaluation results. This dataset can be used to study digital ink editability, such as text style transfer without changing the text content, editing digital ink at the word level, and applications such as spell checking and handwritten text correction.
