CASIA WebFace Dataset is a large-scale face dataset mainly used for identity authentication and face recognition. It contains 10,575 subjects and 494,414 images. The dataset uses a semi-automatic method to collect Internet face images and use them to form a large-scale dataset. The CASIA WebFace Dataset was released in 2013 by Dong Yi from Winsense and Zhen Lei et al. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
