PASCAL VOC DATASET was released by the Pascol VOC project team in 2012. It contains the results of previous PASCAL VOC challenges, and the last PASCAL VOC challenge was completed in 2012.

The PASCAL VOC competition is a world-class computer vision challenge initiated by Mark Everingham, Luc Van Gool, Chris Williams, John Winn and Andrew Zisserman, and held from 2005 to 2012. The competition items include image classification, object detection, object segmentation, human joint recognition, and action recognition.

The post-competition dataset of the last competition in 2012 focused on target classification and target detection. The training set contained 11,540 images; the target segmentation dataset contained 2,913 images.
