The ORL dataset is provided by AT&T Labs at the University of Cambridge and contains 400 facial images. The images in this dataset are divided into 40 different themes, each of which contains 10 images. For some of the themes, the time of image capture, lighting, facial expressions, and details are different. All images have a black background and can be used for research such as facial recognition.
