CUHK-SYSU, the full name of CUHK-SYSU Person Search Dataset, is a large-scale person search benchmark containing 8,432 persons and a total of 18,184 images. According to the image source, the dataset can be divided into two parts:

1. Street photography: images are collected with handheld cameras, spanning hundreds of scenes and experimenting with perspective, lighting, resolution, occlusion, etc.
2. Movies: Offer more diverse scenarios and more challenging perspectives. This dataset provides annotations for person re-identification and detection. Each query person appears in at least two images, and each image contains multiple target persons and multiple passers-by. The dataset is divided into a training set and a test set. The training set contains 11,206 images and 5,532 query persons, and the test set contains 6,978 images and 2,900 query persons.
