Video2GIF contains more than 100,000 GIF-video pairs. These GIFs are collected from two popular GIF websites (Makeagif.com, Gifsoup.com), and the corresponding source videos are collected from YouTube in the summer of 2015. The video provides the IDs and URLs of the GIFs and videos, as well as the time alignment of the GIF fragments with the source video. This dataset can be applied to evaluate GIF creation and video highlighting techniques.
In addition to the 100K GIF-video pairs, the dataset also contains 357 GIF-video pairs as a test set.
