The AI Compute Supply dataset, compiled and released by Mind Lab, is sourced from Epoch AI and is primarily used to analyze the scale of compute capacity in AI data centers, power resources, and the demand for computing resources in frontier AI model training.

The dataset covers 77 AI data centers, including construction timelines for 39 large AI data centers, involving a total of approximately 12.06 GW of IT power capacity and the equivalent compute of 12.86 million H100 GPUs, spanning 8 countries and 16 owners. The data includes information on data center locations, construction and operation status, owners and users, power capacity, H100-equivalent compute, and frontier AI model training tasks, and can be used for research related to AI infrastructure, compute supply and demand, data center construction, and energy demand.
