Bionic Spatial Navigation Cognition BSC-Nav
Bionic spatial navigation cognition (BSC-Nav) was proposed by a joint team from Tsinghua University and Beihang University in August 2025. The relevant research results were published in the paper "From reactive to cognitive: brain-inspired spatial intelligence for embodied agents".
BSC-Nav is a unified framework for building and leveraging structured spatial memory in embodied agents. Integrated with powerful multimodal large language models (MLLMs), BSC-Nav achieves state-of-the-art performance and efficiency across a variety of navigation tasks, demonstrates strong zero-shot generalization, and supports diverse embodied behaviors in the real physical world, providing a scalable and biologically grounded path to general spatial intelligence.
