VOT2017 is a dataset used for the 2017 VOT Challenge (The Visual Object Tracking challenge). This dataset can be used for object tracking in different tasks and contains 60 short sequences annotated with 6 different attributes.

The VOT challenge is organized by Open Challenges to provide the tracking community with a precisely defined and repeatable way to compare short- and long-term trackers, and to provide a platform for evaluation and progress in the field of visual tracking. The goal of the challenge is to establish a repository of comparable benchmarks and to organize workshops or similar events to promote visual tracking research.
