For the pig farming industry, sow farrowing is a key part of the process. Therefore, improving the survival rate of piglets and ensuring the safety of sow farrowing have become important issues. Existing AI monitoring methods have problems with high equipment costs and unstable information transmission. Researchers from Nanjing Agricultural University use a lightweight deep learning method to provide early warning and effective monitoring of the sow farrowing process, reducing costs while improving monitoring accuracy.
